My BFF took me to a Fort Stevens State Park for the night. Fort Stevens in located right outside of Astoria, which is one of my favorite little towns in the world. We stayed in a Yurt, hiked to the sea, and discovered a lake that made us long for Minnesota summers and barbecues. We made a fire, and drank red wine while cracking up about the dumbest shit, like we always have, and always will…I needed that. It can be so rejuvenating to just get the hell out of town for even just a night, sometimes I forget I don't always need to go far away to have a grand adventure.
