My man came back to Portland to visit this past week. Whenever we're together, adventures are checked off of our list. There are endless wilderness secrets to be found in the Pacific North West, and I want to experience them all. This expedition was cut a little bit short due to the stomach flu. I was out for 3 days, and Peter was a patient and sweet couch potato with me. Even though we only got to be out and about half of his trip, we still had an incredible time, and fell in love with the Willamette Forest & Terwilliger Hot Springs. I hope you can get a little taste of this mystical place through our images, and that you can all visit some day, and experience for yourself.

25

Yesterday was April 13th, and my 25th birthday. One of my most cherished childhood movies is "The Little Princess."  This is the scene my celebration was based off of. The moral of the movie is that all girls, from rags to riches, are princesses, and to never lose hope in yourself.  It's just so sweet, and I don't care that it's cheesy and innocent, it was a perfect birthday, and you are all princesses and princes to me. My dear friends were so wonderful for putting this day together. I'm lucky to have them. After brunch we took to Sauvie's Island for beers in the sun, and dipping our feet in the river. It was the warmest day of the year thus far. As I said in the start of 2014, I can feel this is a big year for me. My heart is more open, and stronger than ever. I'm ready to become even more who I am supposed to be.

My 25th Year "To Do" List:
-Practice yoga daily, even if just for a few minutes.
-Start as many days as possible with a green smoothie, but never deny a good brunch.
-Girrrl you have GOT to stop picking your nails!
-Travel outside of the country again. Just go.
-Worry less about money, it comes and it goes, you always get by.
-Go more days without make-up, you don't need it. You are a beautiful.
-Work toward only bar tending on weekends. Make photography your true job. Focus. Work hard. You can do this. Make it happen for yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you.
-Don't compare yourself to others in any way. It doesn't matter what point they are at in their own lives, you are meant to be just where you are, and nobody can tell you otherwise.
-Don't apologize to yourself or others for anything that makes you feel alive.
-Make sure Peter knows how thankful you are for his heart every single day.
-Be present, stay free, and love always
