The last two weeks of 2013 were full of love, bundled up winter adventures, cozy nights tangled underneath warm blankets, family laughs, and good times with good people. My days in the Midwest are always far too few, so I cherish every minute I am given at home. I felt so lucky to get two weeks with my man. Being in a long distance relationship isn't easy, but I look forward to the time when the distance will be nonexistent so much so that it overshadows any negativity that creeps in from our separation. Peter truly is the most kind hearted, strong willed, creative, and inspirational person I know. We lay awake at night talking about how we will always spend our time as makers, adventurers…creating and becoming better together, always…and I know we will.

I warmly welcome this new year with confidence and a full heart. I've never been more ready to face the challenges and hard work that wait ahead for me. I'm going to accomplish big things in this the year, 2014

“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
